Communicator Award
2016
The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) website was recognized with a Communicator Award from the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts. Judged by top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms, the site competed against more than 6,000 entries from around the globe and was given a Silver Award of Distinction in the Websites category for Structure and Navigation.
StateScoop50 Innovation of the Year
2016
Selected by members of the state and local government IT community, in a nationwide voting process,the Virginia Office of the State Inspector General's new Auditor Training Portal was recently recognized with a 2016 StateScoop 50 Award for IT Program of the Year. The award honors innovative technology initiatives and solutions helping to make state and local government more efficient and effective.
Horizon Interactive Award
2015
The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) was recognized as a 2015 Horizon Interactive Award Silver Winner for outstanding design in the Websites - Government Agency category. The prestigious award recognizes excellence in interactive and creative media among thousands of entries from around the world. In 2015, VDACS competed against more than 1,100 entries from 21 countries and nearly all 50 states.

Stafford County, Virginia was recently recognized for an outstanding program in the area of eGovernment and Technology receiving the 2015 Virginia Government Finance Officers Association Innovations Award for the myStafford Citizen Portal. The VGFOA Innovations Award honors government projects or programs implemented within the Commonwealth of Virginia that better the world of government finance.

Stafford County's myStafford Citizen Portal was recognized at the 2015 StateScoop 50 Awards receiving Innovation of the Year honors. Decided by public voting, the coveted awards honor the top 50 best and brightest government technology initiatives that make state and local government more efficient and effective.
Summit Emerging Media Award (EMA)
2014
Winning a Leader Award in the 2014 Summit Emerging Media Award (Summit EMA) competition for their work with the Virginia Tourism Corporation on the m.Virginia.org mobile website, Virginia Interactive was recognized as a "pacesetter" directing movement and helping to lead the industry in the technological evolution of communication.

Out of more than 4,000 submissions, Virginia Interactive took home two 2014 W3 Silver Awards for creativity in design on the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries' Hunt Fish VA mobile app and Virginia Tourism's mobile website m.Virginia.org.
