Maximum Web Security for Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority

The Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority (BRRJA) strives to provide programs to inmates that promote self-responsibility and development and help them return to civilization as more productive citizens. As specialists in secure environments, the BRRJA naturally needs a web presence that is equally buttoned up.

Formed in 1994, and located in Lynchburg, Virginia, the primary mission of the Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority is to support the criminal justice system by operating its centers in a manner that produces a safe and secure environment for the public, staff, and inmates.

A first-time partnership between the two organizations was bonded following an informational meeting between Virginia Interactive President Travis Sarkees and members of the BRRJA staff. It was decided that BRRJA's website would be hosted in VI's cutting-edge environment.

Tim Trent, a BRRJA administrator, recalls that "it took very little time to determine that VI was the host we wanted. VI's knowledge and security measures are second to none. Our website migration was seamless and fast. We look forward to a long-term relationship with Virginia Interactive."
